once again, luciel is dragged out to let off some steam. it isn’t halloween if he doesn’t dress up, and he’s got nothing prepared. so in the end, he settles with something relatively simple—a werewolf. he puts on a pair of faux wolf ears headband that comes with a tail, and then a collar with a leash. he’s gotten sharp press on nails too. though, compared to those walking on the streets, his costume isn’t as flashy. he doesn’t mind all that much, as long his face looks good enough.

luciel hangs out with them for a while and then tells them he has another hangout scheduled later in the night. he had very casually asked seonghan earlier if he was free on this day ( more like, he told him to make sure to free up his time ). he doesn’t know when he can see his childhood friend again, coincidences can’t happen forever. if he doesn’t seeks him out, he probably won’t see his face for a long time. luciel should maintain their friendship, right? they’re in the same countries for once, he can come visit him whenever he wants to. he doesn’t needs to wonder when he’ll come back, just like he used to in the past.

so he waits at their meetup spot, a less bustling area away from the hustle. there’s no plans made whatsoever. maybe they could have a drink later, or just have a late dinner if seonghan hasn’t eaten. perhaps they could just go to the amusement park, or watch a horror film if the screening time fits. it doesn’t matters so much on what they should do. time. luciel wants seonghan’s time. it’s a selfish desire.

this time, luciel has his airpods in, listening to the music he has to perform for later at the end of the month and humming it. he doesn’t forgets to look up from his phone once in a while, though the moment he looks down, he misses seonghan’s figure—and there goes his first proper spook of the day. his shoulders tenses up and he blinks at him. blinks again, because he’s dressed in some sort of vampire outfit. “it suits you,” he comments with a grin. “i didn’t think you would dress up too.” seonghan has always looked good in everything, to the point he thinks it’s a little unfair.

“where should we go? have you eaten dinner? or do you just want to walk around?”

murky chilly rain ♰⸝⸝ starter for @beseonghan

what is fate? the inevitable? the predetermined course of someone’s life? if it didn’t rain, then luciel wouldn’t be here, breathing in the same rainy air as his childhood friend. could he dare to call this fate?

it was supposed to be a short journey of grabbing something quick from the convenience store. just a bottle of iced tea and a few kimbaps (if the others at the dorms wanted some too), but the moment he stepped into the store, the rain came rushing in as if to destroy his schedule for the night. how annoying. he’s dressed in a hoodie and sweatpants with absolutely no makeup on his face.

luciel remains in the store, watching the rain aimlessly as he holds the tiny plastic bag of kimbaps while drinking the iced tea he just bought. even through the reflection of the window, he could see the fatigue in his own lifeless eyes. wearing cosmetic glasses didn’t help hiding it.

thinking about it, he could just purchase an umbrella right now and go back. yet for some reason he doesn’t feels like it, thinking it’s a waste of money. he could wait for five more minutes.

within those five minutes, he hears a laugh. the kind of laugh that he would recognise anywhere in the world. luciel turns to the owner of that laugh, raising his eyebrows, “the first thing you do when you see me is laugh? i feel a little hurt.” but of course, he doesn’t feels hurt in any way. quite the opposite in fact. the real thing always sounds better than through a device, even better than that asmr video that seonghan sent him (that honestly came off as an ungodly surprise to him).

“hah~ seeing your face is refreshing though, i haven’t seen you since waterbomb,” this time he’s the one giving a laugh, albeit a tired one. it feels like it’s been raining forever, but there seonghan is— within the murky chilly rain, standing here with him.

maybe just… five more minutes. luciel will stay here.

tae enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the city. he enjoyed the quieter moments as well but the hustle and bustle was good for helping him out when he needed it. as always, he had a goal in mind and he wanted a little feedback. really, it was just to get his mind of everything. he wanted to be worry and stress free. that meant spending most of his time trying not be listless. and then was nothing more tedious than sitting and going through some of the content he had recorded in the recent months.

tae had set himself up at the park, near the entrance. laptop on the table and variety of snacks beside him. that's how his poor unsuspecting victim found him when he called him over, interrupting their day. he turned his laptop screen a bit so the other could see it. "i want to know which take and edit you like more. if you have the time to review." it was a simple cover he did with his friends, he was in charge of the final product. one had slightly more editing and was their first or second take. the other had less editing and it was after a few takes.

"both have their merits for me but before i upload, i wanted see what someone else thought."

stevie's always been a friendly guy. in school, he had plenty of friends, sometimes too many to count-- all varying types. from surface level ones to ones he feels he can tell every single thought in his head to. he's a people person, has an innate love to converse and meet new people. strangers have never been nerve wracking to him, and often times, stevie will find himself striking up a conversation with anyone in his vicinity. all under the basis of-- what's the worst that can happen? they call him weird and brush him off? oh well! not everyone gets along. the most he can do is try?

at least stevie has somewhat of a reason for approaching this time. the cafeteria ends up messing up his order-- giving him a coffee instead of a tea, and stevie's too nice and also too uncaring to throw a fuss over it. he just gets back in line and orders a tea again, but he's hit with the dilemma of now having two drinks. one of which being coffee, which stevie would feel bad if he just threw away. he's not going to drink it, so stevie elects to be a coffee angel and just...give it to someone. most people like coffee, and most trainees drink it due to their busy and bustling schedules.

the trainee stevie sets it in front of is familiar in the sense he's seen him before-- likely in passing, but not enough that stevie could guess a name, or even which company. but he smiles bright none the less. "hello! do you like coffee?" he holds up his left hand with the cup. "they mixed up my order, but i'm not that big on coffee, heh. it's uh--" his brows furrow as he tries to recall what they said it was. he can't so he ends up twisting the cup so he can read the taped receipt on it. "...a flat white. whatever that means?"

humpty dumpty // starter for @beseonghan

it's almost like a solace of sorts for siwoo. there's no particular reason as to why he's here, and it's not as though vybe's ever pushed for him to pursue this skill; but it's been a while since siwoo's last laid his fingers against the keys of a piano. his hands don't feel as rough anymore, calluses slowly disappearing – it's odd, how such a thick layer of skin was almost a sign that his mind was quiet.

as he enters, he doesn't expect to see seonghan there, though the last time he'd set foor in the piano room was when he'd shown seonghan around the lime building, his attempt at being a good sunbae. and now, months later, he's a debuted member of vybe. a real sunbae, funnily enough.

there's no need for greetings between him and seonghan, siwoo doesn't think so – their friendship is an odd one anyway, but one that he enjoys. seonghan perhaps one of the few people to truly understand siwoo's mind ( not that he's ever made much of an effort to hide it ), and to play along. if he can even call whatever they do playing along. but seonghan's always been an interesting character to siwoo, funny even. still, from all his time knowing seonghan, he'd never quite thought that he'd meet his friend here, as trainees in an entertainment company, much less as seonghan's sunbae, expected to guide him and what not.

guiding seonghan, what a humorous thought. somehow everything about seonghan was always a little funny, but perhaps that was why siwoo hadn't grown bored of him.

he takes a seat on the stool, beside his friend, and eyes the keys of the piano, before they fall onto seonghan's gloved hands. "dirty?" he asks, gesturing to the keys, but wordlessly, he takes out a packet of wet tissue and pulls out a piece, wiping the area clean.

"i didn't know you could play the piano," he comments, as he wipes the keys, shoulders already relaxing ever so slightly from the feeling of his fingers against the surface of the piano. he relishes in this moment while he can. "you know humpty dumpty?" he asks, pulling his hands away.

shadows around the spotlight ♰⸝⸝ for @beseonghan

their first debut stage was over, just like that. singing, dancing, and smiling for the world to witness. it’s hurting luciel’s head in a strange way — the dopamine, perhaps? it’s odd. his hands are trembling ever so slightly as he looks back at the audience, leaving the stage with the rest of the vybe members. his eyes looks for someone in particular; luciel knows where he is, he saw him, but he wants to talk to him. he knows he’s being a little greedy, but so what?

was i great? was i good? did you liked it? what did you think of me?

a call. luciel needs to call seonghan, desperately. after debut celebrations are over, after the staff and fellow trainees congratulated them and all, when they have the slightest bit of time… luciel calls seonghan.

when the line goes through, luciel’s eyes almost shines. “seonghan—” then he pauses at what comes after. he hears seonghan’s voice through the phone, and then right behind him. luciel turns around, dumbfounded and shocked. oh, right. of course he could come in here. usually he would had furrowed his eyebrows, say something along the lines of: are you making fun of me, by picking up my call even though you’re here?

but right now, he could say nothing about that. luciel unconsciously closes the distance, tilts his head slightly and presses his lips. “you came.” if luciel ever had dog traits on him, his tail would had been wagging to no end. “are you going to congratulate me?”
