Do yall remember my friend that I came out to in like, early June? I was talking about her and she was great? Anyway, she continues to be a fantastic ally because

Let me talk about the history of the pride flag and actually looked interested

I was talking to some other queer kids about queerness and she had the right mix of participating in the conversation rather than going "ewww gay I'm outta here," but not speaking over us??? That was nice

A mutual friend introduced themself to the group and said they used they pronouns, and the friend who's the main focus of this post didn't make a big thing about it

She accidentally called that friend "she" but just stopped, corrected herself, and moved on.

And continued to use they/them pronouns for them for the rest of the day.

Even when they weren't around.

I think she's gonna come out as queer at some point but for now, she manages to be better than 90% of allocishets I know despite being raised in a Christian, mildly republican household so fucking good for her.
