I just read Far From the Madding Crowd by Thomas Hardy and the ending between the 3 suitors really threw me for a loop. It was a tragic, but happy ending. I didn’t expect what happened, though. I’m not spoiling it in case anyone is reading it, but it’s the Christmas party scene at the end. Just wow.

watching the new shadowhunters episode and the second luke’s partner referred to the person she was on the phone with as her girlfriend i literally gasped and paused so i could take it in, why are there not more female same-sex relationships in tv shows when this tiny little thing made me so fucking happy
