If you have the Trans Link/Zelda headcanon. I was honestly considering not putting it but a friend told me that my DNI is for what I am not comfortable with first. I'm trans myself, I hate the HC because I feel like people use it as just an "aesthetic label". Link is GNC, there's rarely representation of GNC people so trying to erase that by saying "OMG TRANS ICON <3<3<3" is just eck to me. Please respect this boundary.

I hate my art

I absolutely despise anything I make to the point I am considering quitting as a whole because nothing I make is making me feel fulfilled. It's riddled with errors I can't catch in time and when I do catch them I can't figure out a way to fix them. My art feels wrong and that's all I know, I don't know how to fix it.

So, I've decided to try for 30 days, make something daily, if by the end I still hate it, I'll quit. Starting with...

I saw an account on Twitter called 'BlueScratchCat' that has a lot of evidence of Shira Artmation/BlackDogProductions tracing and even copying other people's artworks, making the 'don't copy my works' stuff outright hypocritical, because they steal/copy other artists' works. It's disgusting.

Yeah heard of it! It's pathetic because Shira is apparently a graduate from art school but eh, the fact they trace will bite them in the ass one day or another, if you compare their illustration and their animations poses/anatomy there's a MASSIVE gap of skills. I laughed out loud when they traced a simple STANDING UP POSE for their ref sheets like c'mon Rara, you can't even draw that lmfao

Really sucks because they seem to have nailed stuff like rendering and composition, their rendering skills are legit insanely good and you can't fake that. The everything else sucks, they used to have so much potential.

also, no I will never be "neutral" about this. I'll always be enraged about them. Because it's a principle thing, they wasted a spot in an art school and did FUCKALL with it

They trace, they aren't creative, they only did a shitty gumball fanfic that they somehow consider a form of holy grail (even calling it a "spin-off" ? Lol?)

Even their stories are just uninspired slop that feels borderline fetishy, and I'm supposed to believe THAT went to an actual art school? I have genuinely so much vitriol to spit on that excuse of an artist that I could make a whole ass essay on it all lmao
