This moist and rich dessert will provide you with the best chocolate cake ever. This cake is ideal for any occasion and will truly satisfy your chocolate cravings.
Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 2 cups granulated sugar. 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1 1/2 tsp baking powder. 1 1/2 tsp baking soda. 1 tsp salt. 2 large eggs. 1 cup buttermilk. 1/2 cup vegetable oil. 2 tsp pure vanilla extract. 1 cup boiling water. 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips. 1 cup heavy cream. 1/4 cup unsalted butter. 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract.
Instructions: Set the oven temperature to 175C 350F. Butter and dust two 9-inch circular cake pans. Sift the flour, sugar, baking soda, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt into a large mixing bowl. To the dry ingredients, add the eggs, buttermilk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Blend until thoroughly blended. After the batter is smooth, stir in the boiling water. It's normal for the batter to be thin, so proceed with caution. Add the semisweet chocolate chips and mix well. Evenly divide the batter among the cake pans that have been prepared. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out clean after baking for 30 to 35 minutes in a preheated oven. After taking the cakes out of the oven, allow them to cool in the pans for ten minutes before moving them to wire racks to finish cooling. Heat the butter and heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until the butter melts. Add the vanilla extract and confectioners' sugar and stir. Take it off the heat and allow it to cool a little. After the cakes cool, sandwich the two layers of cake together with a layer of chocolate ganache. Next, cover the cake's top with the leftover ganache, letting some drip down the sides. Before serving, let the ganache set for approximately half an hour. Savor the delectable chocolate cake you made yourself!
