Bestla est la mère d'Odin, Vili et Vé. Elle était la fille du géant Bölþorn et l'épouse de Borr. Bien que peu soit connu à son sujet, sa lignée la relie aux forces ancestrales et mystiques des géants. Bestla avait également un frère, de qui Odin aurait appris neuf chants magiques. Certains érudits supposent que ce frère pourrait être Mimir, le sage Géant associé à la connaissance et au Puits de Sagesse.

Bestla

Bestla is the mother of Odin, Vili, and Vé. She was the daughter of the giant Bölþorn and the wife of Borr. Though little is recorded about her directly, her lineage connects her to the ancient and mystical forces of the giants. Bestla also had a brother, from whom Odin is said to have learned nine magical songs : some scholars speculate this brother may have been Mimir, the wise being associated with knowledge and the Well of Wisdom.

BESTLA // NORSE JÖTUNN

“She is a jötunn in Norse mythology, and the mother of the gods Odin, Vili and Vé (by way of Borr). She is also the sister of an unnamed man who assisted Odin, and the daughter (or granddaughter depending on the source) of the jötunn Bölþorn. Odin is frequently called "Bestla's son" in both skaldic verses and the Poetic Edda.”

I have an idea that's a mix of Thor MCU and Thor Comics. In the Thor Comics Odin's mother, Bestla, is a Frost Giantness. Making him half-Frost Giant. In the MCU Bestla is never mentioned, only Bor (Odin's father. Seen in Thor 2).

What are the chances of Odin and Frigga having a kid who inherited more of their Grandmother's (Bestla) genes (Blue skin, red eyes, and/or ice powers)?
