Mother and Son
I don't really like the canonical depiction of Asgardians. For the so-called alien race of gods, they look short and slender. In my opinion, Asgardians, as godlike creatures, are tall by an average of 200-220 centimeters (while the average height of (real) humans is 160-170 cm). And as a warrior race, they are muscular, and yes, women too. in this regard, you can see a couple of my redesigns for canonical characters.
(and you can also see my redesigns for other Marvel characters, by tag #heightheadcanons)
Thinking about Thor’s “Loki I thought the world of you” and now imagining kid Thor secretly listening in on his younger brother’s magic lessons with their mother and being so amazed but never admitting it.
You can see Frigga tear up during her last conversation with Loki. Originally the audience can assume it’s because she mourns the path that Loki’s gone down and the fact that he can’t see past his hatred.
But after see her die I feel like it’s because she knew it would be the last conversation they ever had. I could be wrong because i don’t think it’s confirmed that she can see the future but that’s just what the scene felt like to me.
Frigga: Keep an eye on Thor today. He’s going to say something to the wrong person and get himself punched
Loki: Sure, I’d love to see Thor get punched
Frigga: Try again
Loki: I will…stop Thor from getting punched?
Frigga: Better
imagine if loki started throwing things at frigga while she visited him in his cell, like thor did
‼️mentions of death (fictional but still)
—————————————————————————-
i don’t think we talk about the fact that frigga and loki were both killed (“killed”) by the same person in the same way in the same movie..
