The Coolest West Village Doggo Hang Spots

Top 3 West Village Dog Parks

When it comes to the West Village there is a lot of competition for the top dark park. There is:

- West Village D.O.G. Run

- Jackson Square

- Corporal John A. Seravalli Playground

- St. Vincent's Triangle Park

- McCarthy Square

- Grove Court

-Christopher Park 

...the list goes on.

By far the Top 3 WV Parks are as followed:

3)  Abingdon Square Park

This is definitely a local sweet spot in the neighborhood. Abingdon Sq Park falls just far enough below Meat Packing and 14th Street that it is out of high traffic tourism. This little slice of green heaven is tranquility among chaos. ASP is great for both walking and watching doggos.

2) Sheridan Square Park

Located in the true heart of the West Village, Sheridan Square park is the most convenient WV dog park. The park is in the intersection of 7th ave, Christopher St, W4th, and Waverly Place - there are several bus stops, and BDFM1 subway stops. Not only is it easy to get to - the park is also very close to dog and human restaurants. nom nom nom.

ps. the white statues are great pee spots.

1) Pier 45 - Christopher St. Pier

It goes without saying that this is the best dog park in the West Village. This 1000ft Pier offers the largest stretch of grass for maximum pup exercise. This is also an incredible place to dog watch. The size of the park caters towards larger dogs - so it is very likely you may hit doggo gold. Recently, we have spotted Great Danes, Labradoodles, and Grey Hounds...

There is also a secret bar attached to Waffles and Dinges..shhh!
