today productivity looked like:

taking a walk at the local bird sanctuary with my siblings and catching a view of the ocean from the ridge

pretending to work but really watching the us presidential inauguration

unraveling six inches of knitting because the sock was gonna be too big 

actually finishing my reading for class

stressing tf out about the future

putting up my 2021 vision board in my room

I feel so lucky to live somewhere so beautiful and hope you get a chance to get outside today if you can 🤍

since the start of the academic year, I’ve been super bummed that I don’t get to work with kids in person for my psycholing thesis this year. now that my study is online, though, I’m so happy I still get to see them here and there as I work through consent recordings. it’s a nice reminder that kids are still kids, learning languages and how to be human, no matter the state of the world. and isn’t that all any of us are doing? 💜🧡💛
