So I really set out with the goal to make the betas in my universe just as important and vital and wanted as any other member of the pack!

In heat/rut, and out of it!

Being a beta myself (in all the quizzes I've taken, I never stray) I kinda felt like I got the short end of the stick at first, not gonna lie.

Well, shit. I'm just a buffer?? Betas don't do anything helpful-they don't have heats, don't have ruts, don't have a strong scent or sense of smell for other's scents-and it kinda felt like they were just-there?

But I really, really wanted to portray the pack as never, ever seeing their betas that way.

They're just as loved, just as wanted, and definitely just as needed when it comes to pack dynamics and relationships.

So. Fellow betas out there, never fear! I see you. I got you. 😘
