Beta AU. Still on my Raine bullshit. Raine is a massive dork who gets the majority of their clothes from thrift stores cause they think it adds character to their looks. 90% of the time they are wearing turtle necks, sweater vests, or something that makes them look like a polite gay librarian. There is always one thing that stands out like weed socks or the ugliest 80s tie in the world. Their prized possession is a hoodie Eda bought them with the "Terf is a slur meant to silence you?..." on it-P

Raine's an absolute sweetheart and I love them. they're like the gay librarian with the worst dad look you can imagine but genuinely think it looks good because they have the amazingly terrible fashion sense. Eda is completely smitten by them and literally nobody can figure out why. she learns that Raine kept the hoodie and shes so incredibly touched while Luz and King are gagging at the two of them in the background

Beta Luz: We’ve been conducting an ongoing study to see what Eda will and will not eat.

Beta King: Grass? Yes!

Beta Luz: Moss? Yes!!

Beta King: Leaves? Ohh, yes!

Beta Luz: Shoelaces? Strange but true!

Beta King: Worms? Sometimes!

Beta Luz: Rocks? Usually nah.

Beta King: Twigs? Usually!

Beta Luz: Lilith 's cooking? Inconclusive!

Beta Amity: How did you… test this?

Beta Luz: You just hand them stuff and say ‘eat this’ and if they eat it, they eat it.
