Finding a Beta for an anonymous fest can be difficult. You can't give away too many details, otherwise it's clear which work is yours - and what if your recipient offers to beta for you?
So, we're creating a list of potential art and writing betas, and that can include you!
If you want to beta: Fill out the form and look out for someone to contact you! Keep in mind this might not be someone you are friends/mutuals with, so keep an eye out for it. If you want to find a beta: check out the spreadsheet (either on the discord, sending operafloozy an ask, or emailing CR.Summer.Wildflowers[at]proton.me), see if there’s anyone who fits what you’re looking for. Contact them, and see if it works out! Why not just post the list for everybody? Because this list involves contact information paired with fandom stuff, I’d like to allow for there to be fewer eyes on it. You can contact a mod by sending an ask, messaging (operafloozy) on discord, or emailing me at CR.Summer.Wildflowers[at]proton.me.
What do art betas do? Sometimes you’re working on a piece and you’ve been staring at it for hours and you don’t know if it’s just the fact that you’re going cross eyed or if there’s something else going on but it just does not look right, so you show it to someone else and they’re like ‘head’s too big’. Anyway, that.
Can I sign up to be a beta if I’m a participant? Yep! We're trusting that whoever is filling your prompt won’t choose you to beta your own work, so you’re all good. (maybe put your AO3 username as your name, though)
Do I have to have my work beta'd before posting?: Nope! I didn't last year, though rereading that stuff, I should have.

Invisobang is a collaborative event for authors and artists run by @kinglazrus and @bibliophilea. Over the course of several months, authors write fanfics and artists create art for those fics. We have over 80 authors this year, so we could use a lot of artists!
Check the Invisobang Info Doc for rules and FAQs. If you have any questions not answered there or in the "answers" tag on the blog, send an ask!
After you fill out the sign-up form, a message will display the link to the Discord server. Joining the server is required. If this link doesn't work, you can send an ask to the blog and a mod will DM you a new invite.
ARTISTS SIGN UP HERE
✩ Artist sign-ups will close June 15th at 11:59 p.m. CDT. ✩ Your goal is to create a wonderful piece of art for one of our fics. ✩ Artists must be able to make visual art or music, although you can make alternative art if your author is interested. ✩ You cannot post or discuss your art outside the server until posting week.

Now that the writers are finally about to start writing their fics, it’s time for beta signups! Are you interested in helping writers with their spelling, grammar, plot, characterization or all of the above? Then sign up to be a beta!

Beta Reader Sign-ups Now Open!!
Hello Gardeners!! Beta reader sign-ups for the Plance Mini Bang are also now open!! Please access the Google form here.
(If you want to sign up to be an artist, please see this post.)
The form will be available from 1 February to 1 March 11 PM PST. After signing up you will receive a confirmation with an invite for our Discord server so be sure to keep up with correspondence from the Bang!! (After sign-ups close we’ll also send out a welcome email.)
You can access the rest of the event's schedule on the blog here and the Mini Bang rules and requirements (in brief you will have to beta read a fic that’s 5000 words or longer) here.
Note: You are allowed to sign up as a beta reader if you also signed up to be a writer and/or an artist, but you will not be able to claim your own fic.
If for whatever reason you change your mind about participating in the Bang please contact the mods via an ask to the event's blog or through Discord by the writer dropout deadline of 15 April 2019.

Your goal is to write a fic that is 5000 words minimum (there is no maximum) over the next five months.
All material must be new for the bang.
You cannot post or discuss your story outside the server until posting week.
