Beta tyrogue / gohng!
Whoa! Gongu is cute! It’s like a squishy little bagel nub. This is the beta form of Tyrogue, and they changed a LOT. They both make sense design-wise as baby forms of the Hitmon family. It’s actually fascinating how legit they both are, each taking different design features from their potential evolutions. Gongu got all the round parts of Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan while Tyrogue got the pointy parts. They could easily both be the baby form, but they don’t look anything like each other.
I still want both. Maybe this one could evolve into something else.

Gongu/Gong/Beta Tyrogue
Well, this is a design I can clearly see why they had to scrap. He’d be okay if he was just a Hitmonchan baby, but he looks too much like a boxer to evolve into Hitmonlee or Hitmontop. Final Tyrogue’s a much better, more ambiguous design. Still, I do like those big ears.
