Organization is important, but a dozen tiny pockets for everything you might carry someday isn't good design direction. For example, our rucksacks have two vertical front pockets and the main compartment. This makes it easy to stuff them full and stay secure, but without overloading the design, which in turn keeps the price and weight down. We've traveled extensively with our bags, and have never felt the need to add more frills just for the sake of appeasing every person who may be interested. If further organization is needed, then the ideal solution is to add what you may need in the form of smaller pouches that fit inside the bag. It makes things easier to keep track of while also able to remove or add what you may need with little effort.
