Feeling less ill, and starting creating again. Thank goodness, because it's been going on for more than a month and I was getting sick of it! I also saw that the crowing griffon past the 2000 reblogs mark this week, so thank you all for that!
Here's my oc mermaid Fin' Imueh casting a spell. Spent quit some time on that page. The second pic is the layout sketch for the first page of the next spread. I'm hoping to finish it this month, because it's been layin still since the beginning of this year.
Some early drawings of Agrivan and Arsalan. Feels like I had a bit more patience, doing my linework at that time. But I'm feeling exhausted and stressed at the moment.I've been battling the flue this last week, so that didn't help. I'll try to draw and paint a bit more next week :)
Look at all them layers!
Arsalan Once a mighty warrior, he was bitten by a starving were-lion. After killing his family during his first transformative rage, Arsalan visits a magician to rid himself of his curse, only to find himself turned into a small statue… Despite his fear of rusting, Arsalan remains combative and tries to share his stoic wisdom with those in need.
Agrivan After losing his wife and child during childbirth, Agrivan continued to serve the king loyally. At 71 years old, despite having lost patience with the world, he remains well-intentioned. Arsalan has become his indispensable companion, helping to move his old bones and offering a cherished presence.
Mise en page and sketches of my OC I think I might want to start uploading some pages to the web, but I’m not sure where or how to begin.I can only produce one or two pages a month, which doesn’t seem much compared to platforms like Tapas or Webtoon, where they encourage creators to upload a chapter every week(!) I simply don’t have the time or speed to manage that. It’s why I’m hesitant to upload anything at all, not seeing the point in releasing just a couple of pages each month.I’m also not sure if this is a comfortable pace for readers to follow or enjoy the project… Maybe I should just focus on blogging and sharing more wips like this one and see where that leads me. It’s also one of the reasons I became interested in 3D sculpting. The idea was to create models of my characters so I could pose and render them to use in my panels, helping me staying on model and working faster. But, my computer isn’t powerful enough to handle this. I might want to invest in an upgrade and finish that Zelda tutorial I’ve been working on. Any insights, advice, or experiences would be greatly appreciated!
