Because I require so little prompting, here's the webcomic list. @decadent-trans-girl This is the list, basically.
https://www.drugsandwires.fail/ - Drugs and Wires is written by Io Black and illustrated by Mary Safro - Set in a post-90's ex-Soviet state post collapse in an alternate cyberpunk reality. Strong vaporwave elements, alternating between some slapstick elements and mild body horror, with a lot of realistic dystopian elements, the protagonist is a surprisingly romantic, burnt out psychonaut. There's a lot going on in that above description, but that's because it fully embraces and folds these elements in organically. I fully recommend it, and it has bonus content and a dating sim (!) if you like the comic.
https://killsixbilliondemons.com/ - Kill Six Billion Demons is written and illustrated by Abbadon at OrbitalDropKick on Twitter and Tumblr, who also did the Lancer TTRPG (also worth checking out). The protagonist, Allison, starts off attempting to rescue a kidnapped boyfriend from otherworldly daemonic kidnappers and ends up in a celestial polycule on a flat disk set in a fantastic environment. Action, martial arts tropes, strong found family elements, strongly recommended.
http://deadwinter.cc/ - Dead Winter is done by Allison Shabat, a zombie slice of life done in dramatic black and white (with splashes of red) it still manages to be endearing and adorable in many places. Unfortunately, it suffers from the classic webcomic issue of slow updates, but it's still steady and Allison has been working on a sidescrolling beat-em-up in a classic style. Not super gruesome all things considered, but the characters do sustain damage if that's a concern and it is still a zombie comic.
http://rockcocks.slipshine.net - The Rock Cocks by Brad and Leslie who did Blaster Nation some time ago, this comic is very much NSFW. A lot of the outright porn is behind paywalls which the comic reads just fine without, but just a warning. The story of two good-natured, profoundly horny rock musicians and their tightly buttoned (also horny) agent and the friends they make (who are also horny, occasionally repressed) along the way. The pacing is lively, the art is clean and well done, and the ambiance is good. It's fun.
https://betweenfailures.com/ - Between Failure is done by Jackie/Crave and is very much in the fairly old school slice of life classic webcomic style, minute by minute pacing where a few hours my take a few months to get through. The characters are likeable - a bunch of working class young adults stuck in dead end jobs in a cartoonish style. Some mildly risque situations.
https://questionablecontent.net/ - Questionable Content's been around forever now. Jeph Jacques' artstyle and storytelling method has largely stabilized and the comic has settled into a pretty well worn, pleasant groove.
http://threepanelsoul.com/ - Three Panel Soul was the comic that Matt switched to making after dropping his old project Mac Hall a million years ago. TPS has now been a thing much, much longer than Mac Hall, and I love the vibe and art style on it. Short story arcs, vague continuity, I really like it.
Stuff I Haven't Read for A While and Mean To Pick Up
http://dresdencodak.com/ - Dresden Codak by Arryn Diaz was a longtime favorite of mine in, like... college, maybe? I don't know. Forever ago. I have a habit of dropping comics sort of by accident during major life changes, computer swaps, job shifts, etc, and DC's chronically slow updating pace caused me to fumble it several shifts ago. Arryn came out as trans and I rechecked it, and it looks gorgeous though, so I plan on picking it up again because it looks like it's updating. I'm actually really excited about Diaz's coming out because the comic gave me Some Vibes back in college.
https://www.gunnerkrigg.com/ - Gunnerkrigg Court is done by Tom Siddell, about a teenager attending a bizarre school the size of a city - vacillating between fantastical and down to earth, heartwarming, comical, and/or ominous in its nature and scope, Siddell works heavily with bright colors on gray, industrial backgrounds to create his ambiance. I don't remember when I dropped the comic, but it was basically an accident since he seems to update reliably and the comic carries a decent pace. I've been a fan of this forever.
https://reallifecomics.com/index.php - Real Life Comics. Mae came out as trans and I remembered that this is a comic I'd read. I have no idea what's happened but I will admit I will probably check it out again just because of that.
https://megatokyo.com/ - Megatokyo. Did you know this still updates? What the fuck. Does it still have fans? I'm not even hating, I have no idea what's going on with this. Absolutely wild, man. The journal updates were last posted in 2019 and 2018. The About and FAQ have actually been updated. I don't know what to do with this information.
