Gaze was cast over towards the lancer for a moment before turning his attention ahead once more. In a sense, Flynn understood how that felt. For awhile, it felt to him that he was running from his own responsibilities too, however it didn’t take long for him to realize his ideals couldn’t wait for him and what he thought was running away was actually finding a different and better approach. When he thought of Judith-- he never once thought of someone running from what she had to do.
“ Are you truly, though ?? Perhaps it may seem like you’re running from them, but to me it seems like you’ve just been taking care of it in a different way. ” He spoke softly. Weight shifted, leaning back on the stone behind him. “ When I look at what you have done and accomplished, I see someone that just does what she needs to in a much more enjoyable manner. You don’t let the stress overtake you. You take a less direct route, but a still successful path. Honestly... You’re admirable the way you do what has to be done in a more enjoyable way. ”
He paused, offering a genuine smile. “ Though... Perhaps I have read you completely wrong. ”
