When Barry wakes up as himself again, with all of his memories intact (well, as far as he can tell, anyway), it takes him a bit to think through everything that happened. He... he sure did stress some people out, huh?
His family, naturally, is his first priority, but as soon as he knows they’re alright, he’s got to go find Rung. Even thinking back on their conversation alerts him to so much more stress than he was aware of originally, and Barry’s poor friend deserves to know that he’s alright.
It’s the weekend, and his still-slightly-addled brain fails to remind him that he could use his phone, so he makes his way down to Cotes to find Rung’s house. To his surprise and relief, Barry catches sight of him outdoors just a bit before he gets there.
“Rung! Hey! I’m glad I caught you! I’m me--I mean, I remember the city, and, uh, you. I wanted to thank you for the other day.”
