I went from “this is fun” to “whoops, this mud is slick” to about 11miles later and I’m just glad my mildly disobedient legs didn’t fully give out haha the #seattlebeast was SUPER fun (despite my face in the last pic)! The longest race I’ve run competitively was a 5K (3.1 miles)😅, my longest run ever was 8miles, this race was 13miles with 32 obstacles. I was super pleased to see how well my #unconventionaltraining helped me through this race! I felt strong up until about mile 10, then the fatigue hit. I went from the mentality of “hell yeah I can do this!” To, “ I CAN take another step” and I repeated that until I was done. If you get a chance, I can’t recommend something like this enough.
