I had no plans on making this animation AT ALL, but I saw someones own animation with this song and I made a bet w oomf that I could turn the lyrics into Beyonders. It was a silly joke but now im sad :,)

The setting I imagined was the chapter where Drake dies (AHHH AHHHHHHH AHHHH), and the characters are going through a moment of realization of what just happened. Asking 'what will they do?'. I wanted the atmosphere to have a thick finality feeling, but I couldn't really execute that well. But anyways, this line was obvious, moving on
"What are we gonna do, baby?"
ohhhh ohh my dayss😭. To me, this lyric is said by Drake, asking his friends what they'll do without him in a bitter sweet way, like 'oh, what adventures will you go on now, what's your next move that I wont be around to see?'. Also changed the lyric 'we' to 'you' to single him out knowing he wont make it.
(also im not a fan of the word 'adventure' here because it sounds more like a fun thing more than trying to save the world, and he already knows their next move BUT YOU GOT WHAT I MEANT RIGHT😭)
its time to rant about the processes because something always has to happen to me when animating😔....
TELL ME WHY. TELLL MEE WHY. I finished Drake's hand animation (which can I say IM SO PROUD OF!!) and I was having such a good day, it was so good in fact, it had me thinking "that's weird I've been happy for too long." AND I AM NOT EVEN JOKING, AS SOON AS I THOUGHT THAT, I LOOK BACK AT MY SCREEN AND MY THUMB HITS THE DELETE BUTTON FOR MY ANIMATION. WHAT?? WHATT??? HOW DID THIS EVEN HAPPEN.
so yeah, I fully lost that part of my animation (at the time it was the only part i completed so it was basically my full animation) and the only thing I had was the downloaded video, so that was good, right? NOOPEEE!! I was planing on coloring my animation like the person in the Gachiakuta animation, BUT because I didn't make the video transparent it would have that white background. I WAS PLANING ON USING BUCKET ERASE FILTER TO GET RID OF THE WHITE, BUT BECAUSE MY BRUSH IS TEXTURED IT WILL LEAVE WHITE BLOTCHES IN THE LINE ART, and if I used alpha lock it wouldda just made the line art really dark and evil. ugh anyways!!
I really love the way the artist colored their animation, I wanted that same style in mine, the warm colors and the scratchy line art give both a solid in the moment atmosphere, and a dreamy wispy feel I thought was perfect for this chapter, but i can't color it anymore because it'll look weird with one section being colored and the other not. My very clever oomf gave me the idea the make everyone around Drake colored, but have Drake's body outlined with a paper affect to make him seem more distant. THATS A WONDERFUL IDEA!
anyways, maybe its not a big deal, i probably dont even have enough practice to color animations yet
it kindda hurts my eyes i wanna make it beige :( they call me the beige harbor butcher
