Angst please :D
My muse has just been in a major car accident. Your muse is on the scene, shocked to see who is in the destroyed car.

L Lawliet had never enjoyed driving, and being out on the road in bad weather didn’t help. Turning sharply, he cursed under his breath as he tried to avoid being struck by the speeding vehicle that had suddenly turned the corner…
Stars… The detective saw nothing but stars, black forming in the corners of his vision… Shouting choices filled the scene… L struggled to catch his breath, choking on something that tasted like copper…
[Your Light really is amazing.]
// Thanks! I like him quite a bit myself. ;) The fact remains that he is definitely distinct from canon Light—which is not a bad thing, IMO.
My goal is to nail the key elements of Light’s personality as I see it: brilliant but cocky and blinded by self-centeredness, childish and utilitarian to the point of unlikeability yet charming enough to earn other characters’ love. As long as I hit those points, he’ll come across as Light Yagami, even if the manner in which I convey those points differs wildly from the canon version.
For one example: canon Light is very reserved and in control of what he says, but my Light is notorious for wisecracks and running off at the mouth, which was a deliberate choice by me because that scathing wit easily lends itself to both charm and unlikeability. (And also because, well, I’m good at writing it. >.<) My Light is also infinitely more self-aware than canon Light—he desperately wants to believe his own hype, but he can’t quite manage it—which I did to humanize him a bit without erasing his Magnificent Bastardy.
As long as he (a) hits the key points listed above and (b) remains internally consistent, I don’t really care if he’s precisely canon, because he’s never going to be. Canon Light is Ohba’s character; yagami-raito-kun Light is mine. In fact, the more my Light develops his own stories and relationships, the further from canon he grows. I embrace that as a feature, not a bug. If he never changed and never grew, he might be more canon, but he’d be boring. And that would be ooc as fuck.
Sorry to get all self-analytical on you. Thanks again for the lovely compliment! <3

"My name is Ryuuzaki." His tone was uninterested, and slightly forced, like he didn't want to be there. "I'm 17 years old, and I suppose that's all you need to know." The boy's eyes scanned over the classroom, studying the expressions of his peers. He wasn't surprised by the odd looks. Dark eyes, messy hair, and sloppy clothing didn't seem to be very common in this place. Still, the stares weren't appreciated. He grunted his disapproval and started walking toward his seat, avoiding eye contact with the other people. Ryuuzaki clumsily sat down in his seat, folding his arms neatly on the desk. Thankfully he didn't feel as many eyes on him as he had when he first walked in. But there was still one pair of eyes he could feel. Turning his head slightly, he looked over his shoulder to see who it was. He couldn't deny he was shocked, the eyes belonged to another student, who looked surprisingly similar to him, the same hair, and darkness under his eyes.
❂ ✔/ ✘ ★
❂ - Zodiac sign?
Taurus:3
✔/ ✘ - 3 pros and 3 cons about me?
3 pros:
I like to pay for my friends if we go to the cinema or something
If we know each other like, best friendsy and you're not on the other side of the world, I'll literally spend the rest of my money I have to get you a birthday peasant (or two)
I like to say I have an open mind, and although that might be entirely the case just yet (working on it), I will still try to understand what people are going through and try to help.
3 cons:
I'm selfish. Don't hate me. Selfish in the sense that I like to stay in my own little bubble rather than care (much) about other problems going on in the outside world. It's not something I can control. But if someone's upset, even if I feel detached from knowing or sympathising with what they're feeling, I still try to make the effort to help.
I'm dismissive. And spoilt, but that goes hand in hand. Since I'm a lonely child, I've never had to contest with anyone. Which sorta means I put my feelings higher than other people's. Which sorta ties in with selfishness. But still, I try to help and since about three years ago, I've been trying to... well, not be.
I'm anti-social. If you're my friend and you have other friends you usually hang around with, I'll come and sit with you, but - especially if I don't know them - I'll keep quiet and only listen. I actually wriggled out of that earlier on today, but it takes effort, and most of the time, I just don't want to bother with interacting.
{yes I'm the worst person, but I keep up a persona. Shoot me.}
★ - why did I choose to rp as this character?
Why did I choose to RP as A? ...Well, I have a small B account. I RP him around six, up to the age 15. And I sorta established a relationship thing between him and an A. One that I just.. imagined, rather than an account. And I just liked their interactions, and I felt that it'd be better to write it with someone, even if they're somewhat different, then sit alone and looking at B. Especially considering I don't have anyone to RP with on B's account anymore.
...
And then there's the fact that A has so much mystery to him. You can literally put anything in his backstory, as long as he knows B, he's at Wammy's, and he died because of the stress of becoming L. It leaves a lot of room for interpretation.
If I'm honest, I wasn't going to do the RP account until I came up with the idea of the ghost thing. It's limiting in terms of RPing if he's just A, from that time period, there's only two, maybe three, possible characters to RP with. But this way he can interact with pretty much anyone.
And I felt as if it's good to be able to develop and create a character. He's almost like an Original Character, but the template's there to expand on. Idk it's hard to explain ok
Thanks for sending this!:3
I'm also not going to re-read this through so if anything sounds like it's tired talk then ignore -- you get the picture.

He hadn't realised it was him, at first glance. The black hair and clothing almost made him seem invisible at night. But it was clear once the boy looked again; he could hardly forget B. Even though he had been able to visit and watch him for a few years now, A never had, and it seemed almost ironic that he noticed him walking about a dim-lit town.
He let out a small sigh, sitting up on the bench as he watched the other walk from one side of the pavement to the next, away from him. He didn't want to freak the boy out, but he suddenly wanted to talk to him; A thought for a moment how that would go down, almost dismissing the idea altogether. Except... - what did he have to lose? He was dead, only made real by his emotions and memories. And he was alone, even more so than when he was at the orphanage, alive.
And so, A got up, and quickly followed the older boy, catching up to him in a matter of seconds. He walked behind him, unnoticed for a minute or so, ensuring that the street was clear, before biting his lip, and stopping.
"--B."
