[ARTICLE] How My Primary Love Language Is Assisting Me In Business My primary love language is Words of Affirmation. I’m a words person. That’s how I’ve described myself a number of times. Words have a significant effect on me. I’m that guy who, when told “You look good today!”, will ask, or at least think, “What is it EXACTLY that looks good? Is it the shirt, the haircut, the clothing combination?” I’m the guy who’ll think about a compliment given to me in the morning throughout the day, drawing joy from it every time I recall it. Yeah, I know. Pretty cool, huh? 😊 This affinity for words comes about even when listening to music. I tend to pay more attention to the words sang or spoken as opposed to the groove or beat. Words are powerful, and as a result, I appreciate their significance in being able to effectively communicate a message. For most people, you don’t just want to communicate your message: you want to connect with your audience’s heart. Their emotions. I look out for that. And I seek to do that. To connect with others at a heart level in song or in conversation, in marketing or the sharing of a story. Words are an effective tool for reaching the heart. I felt so happy and empowered yesterday! I managed to take the twins to soft play for the first time all on my own! It was so wonderful to meet up with our besties and let them have a good runaround and play all morning long. It can be very difficult struggling daily with Fibromyalgia and severe chronic pain but to be able to see my girls so happy and all of us have a change of scenery was amazing. The pain was definitely worth it.
