Bezalel design
Basically Bezalel is mentioned in the story of Exodus. He’s an artist and was the chief artisan of the tabernacle, cool dude. HE’S ALSO THE FIRST PERSON IN THE BIBLE THAT IS MENTIONED TO BE FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT
I LOVE THIS GUY SO MUCH HE’S ONE OF MY FAVORITE BIBLE CHARACTERS 🥹
Some random illustrations 👁✨
Happy to play around with Krita brushes this time around with a watercolor feel with this one. Featuring OCs Maureen & Guiscard (a gargoyle) with the presence of the Holy Spirit as a fiery dove.
Also a little thing I learned recently is the difference between the Spirit upon someone (gifts) versus the Spirit within someone (fruit/character). I wanted to reflect that here with Maureen having both. :)

Kutoka – Exodus 35:31 naye amemjaza roho ya Mungu, katika hekima, na akili, na ujuzi, na kazi ya ustadi kila aina;
and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills — Exodus 35:31 | Swahili Bible (SWA) and New International Version (NIV) Swahili translation of the Holy Bible by Biblica, Inc.® All rights reserved worldwide and the Holy Bible, New International Version®, NIV® Copyright ©1973, 1978, 1984, 2011 by Biblica, Inc.® All rights reserved worldwide. Wrapping Memory is an initiative by the Department of Visual Communication at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design Jerusalem. This project aims to capture and commemorate the beauty of the region of the Gaza Envelope as it was before the tragic morning on October 7.23, and is dedicated to raising money for the people who were harmed that day.
On this website, you will find illustrations that capture the landscapes of the Gaza Envelope. To donate select an illustration of your choice and add it the cart. Each illustration is a 100 NIS donation. All donations will be transferred in full to the Shoresh Fund for immediate support of the Gaza Envelope citizens. An email will be sent with a digital A4 sized file to download.
