so this is it, friends - for one last time, happy bfsn/bfgd

the 100 was the first fandom i ever got really sucked into, and it’s rooted in so many good memories for me, from my best friend and my mum both getting me into watching the show, to making some wonderful friends here along the way.

i’ve never felt so much love and support from a community of strangers, but we don’t really feel like strangers at all. even if we’ve never directly spoken, if i’ve seen your name around, if we’ve interacted at all, we’ve all gone through the same journey together and i think that’s wonderful. it makes me so happy to see so much positivity on my dash, twitter timeline, and discord servers, and i know i’ve found the right people.

it feels bittersweet in a way - i’m not following the show as closely as i used to, especially after the emotional train wreck season that shall not be named, but i know that no matter what happens, we have kass morgan’s books and countless fics written by so many talented authors to keep us sustained for as long as we like. the talent in this fandom is astounding, and i am floored every time i see an edit, fic, gifset, fanart - anything that creators have put so much time and effort into, making what sometimes is a very rough journey into something beautiful.

this show has also helped me to explore fic writing myself, and it made me so emotional to be nominated alongside so many legendary authors and creators in the bfwa this year. even the fact that such a thing exists is a testament to the goodness of the people here. (thank you to all you wonderful people @bellarkeficawards!)

so, to everyone on tumblr, everyone on twitter, everyone on discord - everyone who reads this, thank you for making this such a fun ride, and whatever you choose to do after the show, i wish you the best of luck and hope you stay safe and well.

nothing much has been new with me.. i’m taming summer courses and its insanely hard to concentrate, i just turned 20 two days ago, and i got a haircut today which is nice :)) i miss bellamy always and can’t wait until bob comes back to the show but if it’s actually his choice and not jason pushing him out of the show i support him. also SO EXCITED for the beliza live!! can’t wait to see them again and support them, hopefully people won’t be just commenting about ships and shit

I tried taking some cute photos yesterday because I knew I was gonna look like trash today. Then today I realized they were all trash and now I’m picking the one I dislike the least. Hahaha if these are the worst of my problems, I’m not doing too bad and I need to keep remembering that life could be a whole lot worse.

But I’m just gonna come out and say it. I miss Bob. So much. There are literally two reasons I’m still on this bandwagon and it’s because of Bob Morley and Eliza Taylor, so seeing one but not the other is rough. But I am so proud of our boy for taking a step back and doing what’s best for him. I know it couldn’t be easy, but the emmence strength it took for him to do that is inspiring.

So Jason, if you touch my son Bellamy because of Bob, I will hunt you down and Torment you for the rest of your days.

But, I’m actually really excited for this episode. Getting backstory for Hope will be amazing. Also, we’ve only had it for one episode, but I really do like Echo when she’s doing her own thing, not following orders or being in a group of people, having a relationship with them, and none of us got to see the backstory to justify her actions. Plus, I love Gabriel. So a Gabriel/Echo/Hope centered episode with Octavia and Dyoza? I’m intrigued

As per usual, I love you all, and I love seeing all your faces.

happy bfsn, bfgd, and show day!!

I won’t lie...I’m feeling pretty nervous about tonight and this season in general. I’m trying to get positive again, and I’ll try to keep my lbs as upbeat as possible. as usual, I’ll tag everything #the 100 spoilers. I just wanna let y’all know I’m here for all of you if you need to talk or vent or whatever.  

but! here are some pics of baby cows to hopefully make us all feel a bit better!! 

things in my life have been a bit of a rollercoaster recently. I’ve been going through some major highs and lows, which have made me consider (and then reconsider) a lot of my life. 

last month, I decided to take my fics down off on ao3, except now I’m back! I only have two wips up right now reelin’ through the midnight streets (my 80s/90s au set in nyc) and love is the best thing we do (my himym au). but I plan to reupload some of my other works too, so let me know which ones you’d like to see edited and reposted!! 

I am so grateful for the people I’ve met in this community. I really don’t know how my life would look without you, and no matter what happens this summer, I will always love all of you.

The last pre-season BFGN!! I can’t wait to see what journey we get this season. I came into this fandom late, especially tumblr. Moral has been low lately for me 😂 do you guys have any tips to help yourselves stay positive and not get discouraged?

I am really excited for season 7 content but also nervous because it’s the last one and ahhh. I love seeing all of your Con content. I wish I could afford to go to one (maybe one day??). I have an essay I wrote about bob and elizas acting for one of my acting classes in undergrad and I thought if I ever go to a con, I’m 100% going to print it out and give it to them 😂

Anyways - not much else to say. This past week has been mundane - work, sleep, work & sleep. So much love for you all.
