Kara's father is a taboo subject - he is never spoken of (for context, he abandoned the family when Kara was just ten years old). Kara's older sister, Nuala, is a Lecturer at the University of the Flanaess, specialising in Medicine. Birthplace: Neverwinter Job: Research & Impact Development Officer Phobias / Fears: Kara is perfectly fine with streams, rain and puddles, but looking into deep abysses such as the Chionthar completely terrifies her. She almost drowned as a child whilst swimming with her sister, Nuala, one afternoon in the Bluelake. Hobbies: Kara enjoys a quiet, grounded routine - avoiding large, overwhelming crowds, preferring the cozy atmosphere of her local tavern, where she performs short sets with her hauntingly beautiful singing and lyre playing on her mid-week days off. Afterwards, she loves nothing more than a peaceful night in with a mug of honey mead. 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐬 Alignment: Neutral Good. Kara's core motivation is simply to do the right thing, free from rigid laws or rebellious impulses. Flaws: Kara will channel her deepest insecurities into a protective shield, burying all her internal struggles to focus entirely on the well-being of those around her, determinedly keeping a stiff upper lip (a trait passed down from her mother). Kara will isolate herself within her own childhood trauma, refusing to let down her guard until her developing romance with Gale finally gives her the safety that she needs. Virtues: Kara is a fierce, strong and powerful protector. Her natural and edgy sense of humour brings light to the darkest corners, whilst her deeply loving and caring nature ensures the people around her always feel valued.
