I need more people to start talking about trans head canons for this game especially ones that don't fit the 'standard'. Transwoman Wyll. Transmale Gale with no gender affirmation surgery, as an active choice he's made. Minthara with top surgery scars. Transwoman Karlach who hasn't medically transitioned BC of her time in Avernus and doesn't have boobs. Trans Halsin with boobs. Lae'zel with a gender that gives you a migraine trying to understand. I'm on my knees begging here people
Thinking about the beauty of Lae'zel/Karlach. They are each others rocks, they cover each others blindsides, they train during off time as a way to flirt. Karlach says something feels like a trap and Lae'zel says she's never agreed more, hand on her scabbard. Lae'zel recalls tales of beasts and Karlach feels her engine thrum with excitement at the idea of killing those things at her side. Lae'zel promising to slay her God-Queen and Karlach is right at her hip, greataxe in hand. Karlach swears to get a new heart and eat Zariel's heart and Lae'zel already has battle plans mapped out to kill the devil before she knows what hit her.
Karlach indulging in the pleasures of flesh when she can Finally touch, holding Lae'zel like a lover. Lae'zel isn't /used/ to the softness, the weakness, but for a fellow warrior she's willing to... give it a try, at least. Yknow. I was thinking about Galelach, and Gale wanting to become god. Thinking soooo intently about Gale wanting to become god not only to prove he is better than Mystra, but to also try and fix Karlach's heart. Maybe even use his godhood to straight up replace her heart with magic. Karlach would for sure steer him away from that even if she wants to live. Power corrupts, and she doesn't know who he'd become if given godhood.
Thinking now of Karlach burning on the docks of Baldurs Gate, collapsed in on herself, Gale crouching as close as he can without boiling alive. Him very quietly asking "Are you sure? I could save you, fix it anew." And Karlach, wincing in pain, shakes her head. Gale nods before casting an ice spell that coats his hand in frost, gently grabbing her hand. They make eye contact as the heat quickly melts through the ice. Then, they plunge into the hells, hand in hand.
