Question for the more experienced BG3 players out there: has minthara consumed one of the tadpoles? Like, by default, if you recruit her via the "knock her unconscious and then rescue her from moonrise" method rather than the "side with her and destroy the grove" method (though tbh could be the case with the later to if so).
Because when I added her to my party for the first time, I got an achievement pop-up. And my computer screen is damaged so I cant read what achievement I got in the moment, so I open steam after I close the game for the night to see what all achievements I got, and one of them is the "consume a parasite and unlock a new power" one. Which i havent done. Or at least, i dont think i have, granted there were a few moments today where I was distracted and maybe I could have hit a dialogue choice without noticing, but based on the time of the achievement vs the other ones I'd gotten today, and the achievement pop-up when I added her to my party, I feel like thats the most likely explanation? But i dont know if thats actually a reasonable guess or not.
So people who know the game better, is that what it is? Has she consumed extra tadpoles before recruiting her? Or am I just stupid and somehow missed her accidentally talking me into it (bc again, timing that has to be the achievement that popped up when I added her to the party)?
