A posthumous lullaby 🖤 Vellicaz
And honestly, it’s downright unfair that you can go to Cazador — with or without Astarion — even negotiate with him to hand Astarion back, or openly challenge him, maybe calling him a monster… and yet you can’t bring up Vellioth or what we learned by interacting with his skull. It’s just too unfair, ugh!
What wouldn’t I give just to see Cazador’s eyes flash — or his mouth twist into a grimace — the moment Astarion or Tav/Durge throws his old master and everything he did to him back in his face.
Larian, a wasted opportunity to delve deeper into his psychology, his reactions, his thoughts, his relationships. Simply to learn more about my beloved, utterly bastardly vampire grandpa. Sigh.
"You look pale. Is your life already leaving you through your veins? It was just a tasting."

A Cool Skull - Vellioth's Skull
His skull is so cool and I enjoyed making this but this motherfucker doesn't deserve to be colored for what he started
vellioth looks like astarion? perfect concept. however. i’ve been thinking of flipping it around: a vellioth similar in appearance to cazador. cazador, who wasn’t impaled and disciplined to be the next vampire lord, but rather to be a more perfect reflection of vellioth. in the absence of a mirror, vellioth builds a spawn instead. cazador, who turns around and chooses household spawn that are the opposite to him—white-haired, noisy, short. cazador, who would never groom his spawn to be a vampire lord, because of how painful it was to be made into another person. (despite the power he could wield, he does leave the personality of his spawn mostly intact. he lets them think for themselves.) vellioth, who was not a szarr, but was closely tied to them, so he could assume the szarr family name and only cazador would know the truth. vellioth, choosing to save the one szarr that resembles him the most before murdering the rest in a fit of revenge. or, perhaps, he raises several spawn but takes on an obsession with the one when he realizes people confuse him with cazador. vellioth imprinting all his desires on cazador so it’s no wonder that when cazador realizes the two rites, he does not feel accomplished. they were not his dreams to begin with
