Aromantic + M-spec
[ID: Four images of the same Recolor app drawing, with slight differences. The drawing shows a feminine person with light skin and long brown hair, wearing a long skirt that flows as they swing their hips. Their arms are up in the air, their eyes are closed contently, and their nails are painted aromantic flag colors. From left to right, the segments of the skirt are also colored aromantic flag colors: dark green, light green, white, grey, black, then repeating dark green and light green, and the rest of the skirt cannot be seen. There are black overall straps attached to the black waistband of the skirt, with arrow-shaped green clips. The overall straps separate the person’s shirt into three segments - each a different color to make a different m-spec flag. The first is bi, and has pink, purple, and blue segments. The second is pan and has pink, yellow, and blue segments. The third is ply and has pink, green, and blue segments. The fourth is omni, and has pink, a nearly black shade of purple, and violet. Stories of an aroace girl
part 5
Okay so here's how I I found out that I'm aroace
I never had feelings for people I didn't know, neither did I want to hook up with them, but I thought it was just a preference or something.
At some point I started to feel sad since I knew that there was something that made me pretty different from my friends, I had no clue about what I was slowly realising and this was making me feel very bad. That was until this party I had with my best friends.
By the end of the said party I was overstimulated because one of my friends that just had started to date could not stop talking about her boyfriend for 5 minutes, at the time I thought that I wasn't feeling well cuz I've never been a fan of romance, so I was getting bored by it, but later I found out it was actually romance repulsion.
Okay so at some point, Aline, another friend of mine was talking about how my future husband could end up being a stranger I met at a bar and I was like girl there's no way that's going to happen with me and she was like "oh you can't know it yet".
I was getting angry with all the environment that I snapped at her saying that I didn't work like that. That was when I realised that not everyone was like me and then it came to my mind that I had read about a lgbtqia+ term that was pretty much like it.
When I got home I researched it and boom - demiromantic and demisexual described exactly how I felt (at least how I thought I felt). I has very happy to see that I wasn't broken or anything like that, just different from my friends, but at the same time there were lots of people like me.
That was when I got into the queer side of tumblr. Accepting my identity wasn't that hard for me, after researching more I came out to my friends, they were all nice, then later to my parents, who were also pretty nice.
However, some months later, all cuz I was reading tumblr posts and thinking about my identity I realised that I wasn't demiromantic/ demisexual and actually a demialterous aroace who felt tertiary attratction
Also that was when I found out I'm bisexual, but I'll talk about it later, so I came out again to my friends and parents what was kinda funny to me, but they were supportive as well.
Now I'm out of the closet to everyone and confident about being aroace

The reason why I took so long to figure out I'm bisexual even though I always knew I related to that is because I'm aroace and bi is sexualized way to much
Okayyy I've come to the terms that I'm not demiromantic, and in fact aro, demialterous and bi
I'm demi and heterosexual (I guess)
