I’m saying this now: Jon Kent and Jay Nakamura’s ship name should be Pink Kryptonite. It just fits so well.

All I’ve seen so far is JonJay, which is not only boring, but also at first I thought it was Jon and Jason Todd, which is a no. Like, I know Jon’s been aged up, but that feels illegal. And about sixteen kinds of wrong.

Im hanging out in my room and my aunt & uncle have some guy over and all of a sudden heard him go, in that unmistakably Judgemental Angry Old White Man voice:

"Did you hear that Superman is gay now?"

He practically spat it out and y'all. i flew out of my room like a bat out of hell ready to have some WORDS. I should not be so ready to defend fictional characters but I am so here we are

But before I could even take two steps, my aunt shot back, "No, he's bisexual."

And I froze. Because she said it in that "Yeah, and? You got a fuckin' problem with that?" tone.

And when the guy tried to call it all as the same thing, my uncle corrected him. And then my aunt & uncle started joking about the different LGBTQ+ people know. clearly showing him where they stood while also defusing the situation and effectively shutting him up

And y'all. Say whatever you want, but listening to 3 boomers talk about Superman being bi (DEFINITELY thinking it's Clark Kent btw) and one of them immediately going to bat for him? and two of them shut the other's homophobia down??
