So I'm on my mid-season rewatch, and early in e2 Mordecestershire asks about Comfrey's research, "did she find it? The Biangle"

At the time, we only knew about the Effulgent Biangle. We didn't know there are more biangles. WHICH BIANGLE IS HE LOOKING FOR? Probably Obtenebrant bc he's a weirdo among occultists.

Also so frustrated that they're still thinking of the tile as light/dark and not light/heat. Brennan says that what Marya saw in the hole is related to fire. If only Van translated that side of the tile too 😭

Ok also, no one’s talking about how van has SEEN the obtenebrate biangle??? With her own eyes??? The thing that the eyeless hand wasn’t even sure was real????

Jesus fuck what a roller coaster. Goldbeard being alive and immediately being shot by pappy, followed by pappy preventing a scrap that very likely would have killed at least one of them by saying "chill, chill" I can't get enough of this guy. Zac found the ball day 1 and has not gotten down off of it since. Someone let Lou know, the goose got on the egg and its glorious.

I do have some thoughts about the biangles, that comfrey views the obtenebrant as a derivative of the calefactory, I suspect shes putting the cart before the horse. I think that the obtenebrant biangle is what's allowing access to other biangles in the first place, and where she's comparing the calefactory to the obtenebrant and seeing similarities as though they're the same thing with slight differences, I think what's actually happening is that every non-native biangle uses the obtenebrant. I think if they calculated the effulgent biangle from Gath they would've found traces of the obtenebrant in exactly the same way they found it in the calefactory in zood.

If the creators of Abby's weren't cowards, her and Rosie would be dating for the first season, break up after the first season but remain friends and Abby would fall for Lamorne Morris' character (in this universe, Lamorne Morris plays Bill and he isn't a sad sack) and then there would be a bisexual love triangle for the rest of the series.  A biangle?  Wait that doesn't work.
