Love that we’re both having a breakdown about finding jobs that we don’t hate 😗✌️ twinning!!

For real though I get the struggle, I dropped out of college when the pandemic started (although I was already not sure I wanted to finish with the route I started) and went into trying to get a full time job. I’ve been in customer service since I was 17 at my first job at Dunkin (good first job, not good long term :-/) so I was able to get reception jobs and my last one was an “executive assistant” but I was doing the work of, no joke, 3 people at LEAST, and I burned out HARD in 3 months and had to leave for my own sanity. Luckily I had some money saved up and I don’t have too many bills, but trying to find another job that I won’t get burned out at fast, and won’t make me want to jump off a cliff, is so difficult. I know how to deal with people, and I’m good at it, but do I like it?? Not particularly, and I think it’s one of the reasons I personally struggle with burnout. I just want a job turning screws or something so I don’t have to talk to anyone and just vibe. Data entry jobs are decent but most come with receptionist duties. The one piece of advice I can recommend is do NOT go into medical reception or any kind (vet, dental, doctor, etc;) every one I’ve been to at least, they all have the same vibe and overwork you at such a fast pace. It’s a nightmare. Anyway that’s my little rant, the struggle is real. 😞

ty for the advice! yea my parents made me get any degree so i went with and finished an art one (not a specialized art school) bc any other one would have k*lled me and im not joking. i hate school + academics. bt now im in debt and wont have any high paying job and my parents are acting as if its my fault somehow

ty for the advice! it is incredibly difficult, its especially difficult since i havent had a paying job and dont know what i can tolerate. also every listing i see has shit pay and a shit description and its a general thing that Having a Job Sucks Major Ass so idk what part of it is me being too stuck up and picky because “hey all jobs suck man just get used to it like everyone else” and which part is no yeah these jobs would be exhausting waghhh

Need you to know that I have roughly 50 books I bought that I need to start and your locked tomb comics moved Gideon the Ninth to the top of the list… I really love both your style and characterizations and it made me wanna read the books even more!!!
