Working with a large legacy codebase, deeper knowledge of datastructures and coding in non-Unity C#, more knowledge of .Net sockets and generally the kind of stuff that someone who’s been doing software engineering for a few years would know. I can work on them on my own, but I have no idea if the skills I develop doing that would be comparable to those they want.

Thanks, friend. It was a long shot, given that I’ve pretty much bootsrapped my way into programming - I only know what I’ve taught myself to do the things I’ve wanted to, so a lot of the things that a computer science major would’ve done in college, I’ve never seen. It just sucks ‘cause I’m really, really good at learning new skills - give me a task and a week to learn how and I can do it, it’s just... I don’t already know what I need to, so I can’t get hired and learn what I need to.
