Seurat (If you can wear only one color with different shades for the rest of your life, which one is it, and why?)

Purple, but mostly darker shades of purple. I just think it’s a lovely colour, interesting enough but not too loud either.

I have sad moments like that too, when I realize time is passing so much more quickly than I feel it should. But sometimes I think it is exactly that life is so fleeting that makes it precious and helps us appreciate it. Carpe diem, darling.

YES! That Jasper Fforde book is AMAZING and, if I am not mistaken, the second book is due out soon. Please consider reading it! And if you like his style (very quirky), consider his Thursday Next Literary Detective series. Yes, it is as odd as it sounds. Yes, it is amazing!

Definitely adding that to my tbr!! The cover is absolutely gorgeous! I don’t know why but I haven’t seen a physical copy of that book in any bookstores here… :-( but I’ll try again!

1) What was the last book you read?

All Quiet on the Western Front by Erich Maria Remarque (for my English class).

2) What book/book series would you want to be a villain in?

Wow, this is a hard question. Every villain I think of, my mind interrupts with “but think of the poor main characters!” I’ll go with one of the gods from Percy Jackson and the Olympians/Heroes of Olympus- they often straddle the line between helpful and self-serving, villain and ally. 

3) Favorite book cover?

At the moment? A Wide Sargasso Sea by Jean Rhys, it has a burning house in the background, which you’ll get if you’ve read Jane Eyre.

4) Do you prefer music or quiet when you read?

Quiet! As a dancer, music is not just a background sound for me. However I can read really well in the midst of noisy buses, classrooms and television shows that don’t interest me. 

5) Favorite non-fiction book?

Helmet for My Pillow by Robert Leckie, it’s a WWII memoir about the Pacific theater, Leckie is also one the three men that HBO’s The Pacific (great show by the way!)focuses on.
