“Le violon du Fantôme”
A short sequence featuring my character Zaira and @endwerk1987 ‘s Johan in an AU inspired by The Phantom Of The Opera.
For the longest time, Zaira has been a very successful contralto. Having grown up and lived on the opera stage since a very young age, her voice has become known across the entirety of Europe. Which is why the first cracks in her singing, brought by her approaching middle age, are especially painful to her.
Luckily, her talent has not been fully forgotten: a masked secret admirer has invited her through letters to join him in his music practice, during which he can teach her something new that will surely refresh her voice and her fame. The man refuses to show his face and to ever give up on his theatrical act, so much so that Zaira has started thinking that this might be all that he is made of. Whatever the case, it is growing on her and she is becoming increasingly fond of his company. Finding out that she is corresponded will be the biggest joy she has felt in a long time.
