It's so fucking tiring to exist as a queer person sometimes. Not only because cishet people can be insufferable, but because gay and trans people can ALSO be.
Don't get me wrong, I love my queers and will never stop doing so but fuck can yall be tiring sometimes.
I am fighting FOR you, and what do I get? You turn your back on me and wish for harm upon me?
It is disheartening to see how easily queer kid will give up not only on the community as a whole but also on each other over the stupidest of things.
I am honestly sad and terrified whenever I see that happening. Knowing why it's happening doesn't make it easier and they also won't listen, but I don't care, I'll keep on loving them. ALL of them.
I will never let infighting win, I won't ever let them push me to hate fellow queers. I won't ever give into our oppressors "hunger games"
I love my fellow queers. ALL OF THEM
something I've been thinking for a while, might as well say:
to me, "dyke" as a label represents a certain relationship with femininity and masculinity; one where you are expected to be feminine and punished for it, but also when you aren't feminine you are punished for it.
it doesn't have to do with labels so much as how others perceive you. dyke is a word for all people who are perceived as masculine women, whether they really are a woman ot not, and punished for it by society.
it's a word used against lesbians, bi women, trans men, transmasc people, and even non-queer people. and acknowledging that we are all united in this word instead of trying to push us apart makes us stronger.
i love being a bi dyke. im proud of my bisexuality, and im proud of being a dyke. no amount of biphobia will teeter me. i stand strong in my identity, because it's so important to me, and it's a core part of who i am <3
Byke Pride Flag
Byke: a slang adopted by some bi-dykes and bi lesbians, however some use this as its own word separated from both.
Not to be confused with boydyke. - Ap
Hi folks, your local bisexual here to tell you that if you want to support bisexuals please for the love of whatever you hold dear do not spread this sort of stuff:
Don't try and use this stuff to educate people on bisexuality. Don't. Please.
Bisexual is attraction to both genders (trans folk included). Thats it.
Well hello gorgeous! Ottawa celebrates Pride in August, so effectively, we get two pride months! It’s the best! These lovely, shiny, rainbow metallic buttons (and magnets) are definitely capturing my mood right now. Love is love! Since the discourse on bi lesbian on tiktok is slowly dying down, I'm placing my bet for the next topic of discourse:
ace/aro identities
I'm telling you, may/june will probably be filled with that bs again
