Same view during three different era's stretching as far back as 1913 during a donkey parade opposite Central Pier on the Promenade with the Wellington & Pier Hotel (later a McDonalds and then a gift shop) and The Huntsman hotel (later the Bier Keller building and Happy Dayz amusements) dominating the view in the period photograph.

The old Huntsman Hotel buildings, more recently referred to as the Bier Keller buildings that has housed many bars, arcades & takeaways over the years, next door to the Madame Tussauds waxworks on Central Promenade.

The Fairyland building next door has long since been removed.

Day 80 New Phase

Day 80 New Phase

The girls seem like they are entering a new phase. They are sleeping later. Shhhh! I don’t want to jinx it. But let me clarify. In the past it didn’t what time they went to bed, they woke up at 5 or 6am. Now slowly and subtly their bedtime seems to be having some effect on their wake-up time.

This morning they both came to sleep in bed with me probably around 6. We slept all snuggled together…

Last night we went to our first beer keller in 2020. Beer keller season typically kicks off at the end of April. This year obviously it was postponed.
