hi if you think it's "harassment" to talk about actions other people have instigated against you, specifically, by name, you are in fact feeding into a mindset of abuse! that is a thing abusers say in order to shut their victims down.

Particularly if you are making or publicly supporting and endorsing actual threats of physical violence against the person responding.

Like, just as an example, perhaps like these ones?

You don't have to apologize! Much as I do believe that the best way to fight this kind of stuff is for folks to come forward and openly stand against it, I also don't fault anyone for not being willing or able to. They actively want it to be dangerous to support anyone they've gone against, and nobody should feel bad for not putting themselves in danger- regardless of age.

This is my original run-down on the situation, and the post that kickstarted witches-ofcolor's more active harassment of me.

And here's her admission that her actual motive here is just to discredit transmascs & the terms we use to describe our oppression.

Basically, tumblr user bifey made a callout post about Saint, which was passed around with increasing levels of aggression toward anyone who continued to engage with hymn. I ignored this for two months, then made this post about callouts in general, which bifey decided was about them specifically- then used as justification to harass me as well.

I ignored that for a while, only engaging with a couple of asks to explain that I did in fact think the callout against Saint was unfounded and invasive, and did not feel comfortable dissecting someone's private, consensual sex life among adults in order to determine their morality and worth as a person. Particularly not when the resulting assumptions were labeling a transgender person a "sexual deviant" and "sexual predator".

It was five months before I formally addressed the situation (in that first link), at which point witches-ofcolor and her sister, visibilityofcolor, doubled down hard and began to actively post about me and encourage their followers to harass me (they'd make posts asking people to "reach out to me" etc., which invariably resulted in aggressive asks and DMs, threats, accusations and name-calling, transphobia, and suicide-baiting).

Witches-ofcolor then created two separate alt accounts to contact me with, even after I explicitly requested she stop trying to contact me, stop posting about me, and leave me alone- and informed her that I would only continue to block further attempts to contact me (linked above).

Eventually, bifey and visibilityofcolor began making open violent threats toward me, by name. It was after I posted about this that the more active harassment finally seemed to die down a bit, but rest assured all three of them have kept my name in their mouths and their lies about me circulating since then.

The more recent round of harassment is because they want to remind everyone that if you associate with me, you are an Inherently Bad Person, and they need more ammo against @ladynephthyss. It's hard to convince people outside of their little deranged circle that a post about "hot girl summer" by a black woman is anti-black, so they have to stack some claims and hope nobody notices that the others are founded on just as many lies and fabrications as the original claims.

But you are really sick. it's sad seen how you've gone from an actual great resource to someone who is just salivating at the mouth to print screen whatever woc does, even if she hasn't been talking about you for like days. I talk about what's happened to me for a few reasons, actually:

1. I would rather they come after me than someone more vulnerable. I have the real-life support systems, relative financial stability, etc. to handle the harassment they sling at transmascs in general. They are constantly looking for new targets (and if you check their tags, they've had dozens of them even prior to Saint and myself), and if harassment is gonna be their hobby, I'd rather it be aimed at me.

2. I've had multiple people come into my inbox to share their stories of being harassed by witches-ofcolor and visibilityofcolor, most if not all of them completely unrelated to their current anti-transmasc brigade. The best thing that victims can do is band together, talk about those patterns, and lend each other solidarity.

3. They started harassing me 2 months before I ever acknowledged their existence (in their eyes- in reality, I just made a post about how callouts are shitty, and they Decided it was about them). It was another 3 months (5 total) wherein they continued to harass me specifically & directly before I finally acknowledged them by name. W-oc made not one, but two alt accounts to circumvent my block- despite my direct requests that she not contact me. Her sister (visibilityofcolor) and her friend (bifey) have repeatedly threatened physical violence against me, and detailed violent murder fantasies about me.

I have every right to talk about the situation, particularly when their harassment is ongoing- and has been for 8 whole-ass months now, and only 3 of those with any real acknowledgement from me- and was instigated by them every step of the way.

What you are doing is victim-blaming. It isn't my fault that these people choose to harass me, and being impacted by that harassment does not reflect badly on my character. I'm allowed to talk about the shit people have done with explicit intentions to hurt me.

I also... have not actually screenshotted w-oc's blog. Genuinely have no idea what you're talking about. The only example I can think of is this post from a month ago; otherwise most of what I've said has been in response to other people's posts about their experiences with w-oc, reblogs/additions to my older posts, and asks sent to me about the situation.

I have made some very real mistakes, yeah! And a huge part of my philosophy is trying to recognize those things, learn from them, and do better. There's stuff in my past that I am really, really not proud of- and stuff I've done that goes against everything I stand for now. I'm sure if I had been posting online in middle school, there'd be plenty of records of some genuinely fucked up beliefs I held.

But I mean, they're not even going after me for that kind of stuff. It's not real criticism, or even just old criticism.

Openly fantasizing about killing and mutilating the corpses of trans people because they disagree with you on the internet
