绕佛是什么意思？

绕佛是一种佛教礼仪，原为古代印度礼节之一，释迦牟尼在世时即有此礼仪，此后绕佛应用于修持上和法会行道中。

绕佛的方法是围着佛右绕（顺时针）行走一圈、三圈或者百千圈，以表示对佛的恭敬仰慕之意。
