Circumambulate (verb) – walk all the way around something
If you’ve hiked the Wonderland Trail, then you have circumambulated Mount Rainier! The word comes from Latin circum- (like circumference) + ambulare, “to walk”. There is an aspect of a pilgrimage to walk around something fully. To view it from all sides, and perhaps better understand it. What reflections have you had from walking around Mount Rainier?
