renbob n bigb originally didn’t intend to catch feelings when they first met, they simply met through a mutual friend (rendog) who wanted to introduce them to each other
but they ended up falling and falling hard, they aren’t expecting to be this into each other on the first meeting and yet, here they are, falling for what is essentially a stranger
they thank whatever force that’s keeping them alive that they didn’t fall for someone cruel n that they fell for someone who’s gentle and loving
They don't feel rushed into the relationship despite how fast it moves. They're practically discussing moving in together by the third date! Neither of them think they've clicked like this with someone before and they're both grateful to Ren for introducing them.
BigB likes bringing homemade cookies to each date. He promises he'll teach Renbob to bake them eventually. A secret family recipe, passed down through generations! (It's actually one from the internet that BigB has tweaked a little, but nobody needs to know that.) Whilst they sit together in the park, Renbob teaches him how to make chains of flowers because, "Everybody needs a little colour in their life, man!" The resulting crown fits perfectly on BigB's head. The reds match Renbob perfectly, whilst the one Renbob wears is in varying shades of blue.
