Don't you sit there and tell me that if I want thing "Simple" & "Easy" that I should consider an AT, especially if I don't know how to drive an MT. What if I don't like things "Simple" & "Easy" ? I am telling you an MT is what I want, and that right now I am taking lessons. We are not getting a car at this exact moment, we are looking around. I am willing to put as much time as I need for me to fully understand how to drive a stick. Stop trying to sell me a car that I've already made clear I am not interested in, we are not buying the car NOW, we are comparing prices.
And don't ever get your manager to come and try to do the same; trying to convince me that my boyfriend teaching me isn't the best because we will end up arguing just like him and his wife. You are telling me that it is difficult to learn and therefore should not even consider driving a stick let alone buy one? If I am telling you I like MTs and I am learning because I WANT TO, because I LIKE IT, why are you trying to tell me it is difficult? If it were difficult, my ass wouldn't be staying up till 1am driving with patience, & not frustration. And even IF it were difficult, yo le "haria la lucha", because I like it and I like to challenge myself.
Sure, at the end of all this I decided to stick with an AT because it will give my mom peace knowing she'll be buying a car I know 100% how to drive. But, you know what ignorant world, I'm going to stick by my choice, I'm going to keep learning to drive a stick and shove it right in your face. I know if I were to go with an AT and return for your deal on the car, you would say, "We told you so!" "Too hard, right?" No, instead I will return and say, "Fuck you, it is easy."
Thank to my boyfriend, I would've stayed with an AT. He so supportive and I love it.
