Make your own delicious version of the iconic Big Mac burger from the comfort of your home. This homemade Big Mac recipe brings all the classic flavors together in one mouthwatering sandwich.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/4 cup finely chopped onion. 1/4 cup finely chopped iceberg lettuce. 2 slices American cheese. 1/4 cup sliced pickles. 1/4 cup special sauce mayonnaise, ketchup, sweet pickle relish, finely minced onion, white vinegar, salt, and sugar. 1 sesame seed bun. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Separate the ground beef into 4 equal parts and form them into thin patties. On both sides, season the patties with salt and pepper. For about 34 minutes on each side, or until they're well browned and done to your liking, cook the patties in a hot skillet or grill pan. In the last minute of cooking, put a lid on top of each patty and add a slice of American cheese. This will melt the cheese. Mayonnaise, ketchup, sweet pickle relish, finely chopped onion, white vinegar, salt, and sugar should all be mixed together in a separate bowl to make the special sauce. Mix everything together well. Cut the sesame seed bun in half and toast it a little in a pan or on the grill. Spread a lot of special sauce on the bottom bun before putting the Big Mac together. After putting a lettuce leaf on top of the sauce, add a cooked beef patty with cheese that has melted on top of that. Put down some chopped onions and pickles. Add the second beef patty with cheese on top. Add one more layer of the special sauce, and then put the top bun on the sandwich. Enjoy! Pair your Homemade Big Mac with your favorite sides.
