so i have a BIIG cross country meet saturday, its called sectionals, a meet before state! and im in sectionals. i live in illinois, and this meet is about 3 hours away. my mom and 2 older brothers are gonna be going, and it would make me extremely happy if my dad would go. i called him tonight and asked if he was still going saturday, and he said he doesn't know because his girlfriend dad is in the hospital, dying i believe. and her dad is on oxygen, and today he went into a coma and had been in it for awhile. my dad said if he has two choices, if her dad makes it out of the coma, he will come to my meet, if he doesn't he wants to be there for his girlfriend if her dad dies. honestly, i don't think that is fair because my dad has only saw me twice. and i would be very devastated if he didn't come. because this is a big meet and i just want him to come and see me run, he is the one that actually told me to do cross country. idk, it would be nice seeing someone that you used to live with come and watch you run...
