When family & friends send me pics like this I sigh wistfully bc it's Biike burning season at the coast and I'm not there but at least I get pics
#biike#biikebrennen#used to be to say goodbye to a community´s or farm´s whalers for the beginning of whaling season#but i just read that it was also used on my usual island to signal to men on the danish coast that the women were now alone again#lol#these days it´s mostly burning xmas trees and a reason to get together look at fire and have a hot drink#personal stuff
