Why do you think a Goode chose Billy Barker? I mean it's a grown man choosing a 10 year old to be a murderer. Was it by chance or do you think there was a reason Billy was picked? What do you think happened?

i already answered this one a while back but i think it’s really because he was a kid. i read a theory somewhere that the more innocent the victim, the better the reward. that does add up— i mean, look at tommy. he was described as a sweet, innocent guy. and ruby! “a sweet girl with dreams.”

i think it’s because he was a nice kid with a disadvantage in life. he was bullied and it could easily be painted as him just “snapping”

A coroner’s inquest is being held tomorrow for the beating death of Ruth and Henry Milton (Barker?). Henry, a farmer, was found in his bed, his head bludgeoned (?) by a nearby baseball bat. Ruth was found next to the bed, also bludgeoned about her body and head. Their son Issac Milton (Billy Barker) was found dead in the backyard and is presumed to be the attacker. His death (?) was not by blunt force (?) and is still to be determined.

Isaac played for the Shadyside School Baseball team and it was his bat used as the murder weapon. These details will be verified at the coroner’s inquest, but the town is on high alert until then.  [cuts off]

I really wish that American Mary came out during these yrs instead of 2012. I can imagine the stories that would've been created about Billy Barker and Mary Mason.

I've only found 2 good ones, and it's just sad that it came out during 2012. They had so much potential. Billy was absolutely whipped for Mary, and Mary definitely liked him seeing as how she reacted to that one girl. She really could've been happy if the relationship had developed more.

I still to this day am pissed the fuck off about that ending, and poor Beatress, she did not deserve that. Neither She, nor Mary.
