@alwaysxinxtrouble gets a starter from Billy for Steve
Billy had been certain he'd be dead. Hell, he'd even accepted it, because death was better than an abusive father or being possessed by that creature.
What Billy didn't expect was to wake up in the middle of a place he recognized yet didn't. Is this what hell is? The feeling of dread that washes over him just being in this place?
And his wounds, they're still there, bleeding which means he's not dead. He scrambles to sit up, to tear off strips of his shirt to tie around the various wounds in an attempt to stop the bleeding in the four different spots and ensure he remains alive.
It leaves him without a shirt but that's hardly what is on his mind.
He survives here alone for an unknown amount of time. Dodging those weird ass things that remind him of dogs and fighting for his goddamn life.
It takes a few days before he hears it. The sound of a familiar voice, one that he didn't think he'd ever be so happy to hear. "Harrington?" He calls out but there's no response.
It feels far away so he follows the direction the voice is coming from, steps quick yet as silent as they can be because he doesn't want to draw any unwanted attention.
Billy walks for what feels like forever. His wounds throb and his feet or tired but he doesn't stop walking. He doesn't stop because if he does, he might fall over, and he might not survive this place.
Finally, he reaches where Steve's voice was coming from. His house.
Billy makes his way inside with ease and sure enough, there's Steve. He walks in front of him, "Harrington?" Nothing. No response, not even when he waves his hand in front of his face.
"Steve! Hey, asshole!" Nothing. Still nothing.
Frustrated, Billy begins to pace back and forth in a line in front of him before he comes up with an idea. If he can effect something in this house, maybe he'll be able to draw his attention.
He moves over to the light switch in Steve's room, flicking it on and off. At first, it doesn't do anything, Around the third time, it finally does something. The light flickers off once, so he does it again, and again, making the light flicker on and off multiple times.
Finally!
"Harrington!" This time, he yells, as loud as he can to hopefully reach through wherever the fuck this is and to him.
