Something else that’s been sitting in my projects folder for a very long time - billyjean’s Curio Bedroom Closet. What started out as a simple “just going to add some slots and do some wood recolors” turned into oh, so much more.
There are slots, 2 per shelf. There are now 2 subsets, the wood and the metal (I added a clothes rod), and 18 wood recolors/9 metal recolors. The metal recolors come in 2 versions: the ones with a “B” color the rod invisible if you’d like to use meshes like the clothes racks from Cassandre’s Color Trends set like I did.
When making my recolors, I had to remap the mesh to save my sanity. Billyjean had shading built into her texture and the remapping meant that was lost - SO I made a shading mesh. The remapping also broke any existing recolors. I had recolors by Reikus13, Caro and MsTeaQueen. My recolors already had a black and a white so I did not redo all of the existing recolors. The ones I did are included, just let them overwrite the originals if you have them.
There are 2 versions of the mesh in the download. The one in my screenshots has a back added to it, the other has an open back like the original mesh. (I did add some bits and pieces to cover some open mesh areas,) Since they use the same GUIDs you can only have one - the recolors will work for either one, of course. If you want to put it between 2 walls, the mesh will be eaten a tiny bit by the walls but walls won't show through the sides anymore. :)
The closet can be found in General>Misc for 150 Simoleons. Remember that you can only have 1 version in your game! No cheats needed to place. After the slots are filled you can add clothes racks or hanging clothes, however - you will need moveobjects on to place on them on the left side. That was a trade-off I made to avoid being able to fill all the slots from both tiles. Which is flipping annoying and I wanted it gone! If none of this is a deal breaker, you can....
P.S. The backless version will not overwrite the original mesh since I renamed it. The other will.
