One of my favorite thought exercises:

1. Name a fictional bisexual (or pansexual, etc.) guy.

2. Is their sexuality explicitly stated (either in the text or in canon)?

3. Are they the main character?

4. Are they part of a central pairing?

5. Would your average audience member consider them bisexual?
