It's Binary Sunrise Oliver 😒 lmao just messing with you BUT I based the title on the Star Wars theme Binary Sunset so you're sort of right.

This is my coffee shop au and the name of the coffee shop that Peter works at is Binary Sunrise (bc star wars nerd and sunrise->coffee you get it) This is also my take on the strangers stranded together become friends for an hour trope.

Peter is working and he usually works the closing shift so he can go straight from work to other work (Spider-Man). He likes it because he sees pretty much the same people every day. Not many people get coffee at 8 at night (im realizing as i type this that this is probably not true in nyc but what do i know) until one night a country boy comes in and he's cute okay but Peter's got his pride and he's not going to fall all over himself bc of some boy he's only going to see for ten minutes.

Well the storm outside takes a turn and it's dumping rain in sheets and the wind is driving it sideways, traffic is at a stand-still while flash flooding crops up all over the city. News reporters are telling everyone if they're somewhere safe to stay there and wait it out, so everyone currently at the coffee shop is stuck there...including the cute country boy (Harley. It's Harley.)

Peter is stressed. He's pretty sure the cute country boy is flirting with him and he's certain the storm isn't natural so he keeps texting Tony telling him he's stuck at work and he needs to check and make sure there isn't a super villain out there causing the storm. And Tony is like.....they've been warning us about this storm since before that tropical storm hit down the coast. Everyone knew this was coming.

Except Peter bc he doesn't have time to check the weather okay

So he's on his own with the cute country boy who is definitely low-key flirting with him as well as a handful of regulars who are just as stuck.

The power goes out and the kitchen floods and basically it's just a soft little fic about communities coming together and helping each other out while Peter has an anxiety attack about feelings 💗💙💚💜🌈😅

Luke ran his hand over the floorboards and closed his eyes. One board popped up under his flat palm.

Leia frowned. There must have been a pressure plate he’d found.

Carefully Luke moved the board aside and from under the floor he produced a silver box that looked like an old toolbox. He slid the lid off and set the box on the floor. Inside was a strange collection—some white fabric, a rock, some dried flowers, a commlink. Leia leaned closer. “What’s all this?”

“My secrets box. It’s where I keep important things. Just for me. But since you’re a secret too, I can show you.”
